happy birthday to meeeee!
------
Heh, I switched on the other computer - the Windows one - after I don't know how many time. This time I didn't pay attention to the antivirus software scream of rage, but simply downloaded the updates and installed them.
I don't connect that computer at internet anymore, too much a hassle. It's quite a while I don't patch Windows 2000, so connecting at internet would be really harmful for it. I keep the antivirus on it - uploaded via modules downloaded from the Mac and transferred via USB key. Yes, I have the backup of the entire system, but why risk if I can avoid?
I also updated Apophysis and discovered the "3D hack" version of it. If you're into fractal art and don't know of this version, it's worthy to take a look.
On the other hand, I'm feeling kinda... meh. Apathetic. Last year drained me, physically and mentally. I'm always sleepy...
EDIT: because I really shouldn't write journals when I'm tired

auguTi in ritardo!
I don't know how much better 2008 is looking, but for the art, I could say it's looking up for me--how about you? Got anything big planned for '08?
I'm experimenting something different (different from my usual kind of drawings): fractals. The reason I switched on the PC is because I have Apophysis and Ultra Fractal installed on it ;)
Oh, and happy birthday! ^^
(ah, tra l'altro ieri sono disceso in quel di Bologna a farmi un'iniezione di film... e mi sono visto il corto di Ratatuille)
Now THAT was a stable operating system.
(I have to admit the "not getting connected to Internet" bit really helps)
